94 points Wine Spectator: “Dark, rich and plush, with layers of mocha, coffee, currant and plum flavors that are complex and concentrated, finishing with ripe, fleshy tannins and long, complex aftertaste. A very impressive wine that’s youthful and impeccably balanced.”
Later Reserve 3 liter format bottles with a lower Wine Spectator rating are on the market now for more than $750. It is doubtful this bottle could even be found outside of a private collection. A truly special offering.
