The three “castrati”—Mario Batali, David Chang, and Tom Colicchio—are together again, ready to cook their hearts out to benefit Food Bank For New York City. Get ready for a magnificent dinner at your home (so long as it’s on the isle of Manhattan; this is not negotiable). The three chefs will shop for and cook a once-in-a-lifetime, sit-down dinner for 16 people (also not negotiable). Each chef will create two courses for a total of six delicious arias, each paired with wines including mags of ‘82 Château Latour, Château Mouton Rothschild, and Château Haut Brion, all donated from the famed wine cellar of their pal Edward Milstein. Needless to say you should bring your appetite and your thirst for delicious vino—both will be getting serious play in all six acts.
